We've been around ever since the mid-1970s and we started manufacturing domestic light fittings by assembling local parts to make traditional pendants. In the early 1980's, an electroplating plant was purchased for better quality control and the business changed hands at the end of the decade. The expanded manufacturing procedures included powder coating, metal spinning threading and bending and were incorporated into a purpose-built property in Para Hills West in South Australia. Since then Olympic has invested in "world-leading" technology at its electroplating plant, and we have become self-sufficient in timber turning and routing. Although manufacturing has subsequently declined in Australia, our properly organized production facility has enabled us to help customers with specific needs.
